Wheat Kirbo grew up in Bainbridge, Georgia and earned his juris doctorate from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2011. 

He is dedicated to the community and has served in a variety of local community organizations. He is married to Natalie Bristol Kirbo, who is a Realtor in Bainbridge, GA. They have two children, Adella Grace Kirbo, born in May of 2016, and Bruce Wheat Kirbo, IV born in December of 2012.
